Stardusk Studios minicard
April 4, 2008
Design for business minicards that I plan to have printed through moo.com.
It won’t be printed at this size, but I love the way the full image looks.
Services Updated, Other news..
February 19, 2008
That’s right, my Services page has been updated with all of the services I offer.
I have also updated Treasured Wings with two new months; March and February. Only nine more months left to do.
January’s Gift
February 8, 2008
Treasured Wings Calendar image.
Month: January
Model: My daughter
Credits: deviantART.com’s redheadstock, FoxStox.
Original At: deviantart.com
The theme for this image is Gift, the gift of January being a new year, a new beginning, etc.
Some background on the photo shoot with Ang in her wings, she wasn’t to sure about them in the beginning, but ended up loving them. She was a pretty good girl for the shoot.
I did manage to get some exclusive stock from that shoot, you can find out more at pyerflystock (my photo stock gallery).
Gamer Doll
January 27, 2008
How else would you describe a girl gamer? This is my interpretation of my female gamer character in a doll format. I think that this is also the #001 Introduction to my 100 Themes Challenge folder on my deviantART.com account.
This character is me in all formats except for her name. She along with the other characters I have already drawn (the gamer is also in the cat picture) will be featured almost exclusively at my deviantART.com account.
Of course if there are any others from the 100 Themes Challenge that I think you’d enjoy seeing here, I will post them up right away.
Still, something that was quick and easy to keep me in a drawing mood. I should also finish up the other sketches I have, but those can wait. I have other things that I’m trying to work on at this time.
Power Up!
January 25, 2008
Title: Power Up!
Medium: Pencil Sketch (30 Minutes); Colored in Photoshop
—-+
This image is dedicated to all the Girl Gamers out there who are traditionally forgot about by almost all of the major gaming magazines, a decent ammount of game design companies (those damned Barbie(R) games *shudders*), and looked down upon by a vast majority (swiftly becoming a growing minority) of male gamers (sorry guys, girls play too
).
But seriously, what’s more powerful than a chocolate bar?

A few little silly things.
(X) Yes, that is the Triforce (Legend of Zelda: NES) on the topmost chunk.
(X) Ah, Boo (Super Mario Brothers: NES) on the middle chunk.
(X) And at the bottom the Mushroom (Super Mario Brothers: NES), Power Ups for the win! (j/k)
(X) The double ‘G’ on the base of her thumb does stand for ‘Girl gamer’.

Portfolio: Book Cover
January 12, 2008
I had my portfolio privately printed through Lulu.com to show potential employers.
This also gives you an idea of what to expect if you commission a design from me. All of the works shown on the cover are by me.
This was originally posted on my deviantART.com account, that is why the watermark is there. Even so this is one of my favorite designs to date.
I hope that you all like it as well.
Starseed
January 12, 2008
Inspired by: Our Lady Peace “Starseed”.
If I let go of the world that I was holding
a passenger that could not fly
in search of souls
in search of something
let it go
let it slide
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
ooh oh yeah yeah yeah yeah
when i find out what went on
I’ll bring it back
but it won’t be easy
they won’t believe how a man
he could drown
in a starseed, starseed
I hoped to find why the world wasn’t glowing
it darkens as we end this ride
I’ve fallen back under the equator
I’m back inside I’m back inside
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah,…..mmmm so real
ooh oh yeah yeah yeah yeah
when i find out what went on
I’ll bring it back
but it won’t be easy
they won’t believe how a man
he could drown
in a starseed, starseed
it’s all or nothing, nothing
but i found out what went on
i’ll bring it back but it won’t be easy
they won’t believe the man he could
but i’d choose starseed over nothing
nothing
but i found out what went on
i’ll bring it back but it won’t be easy
they won’t believe the man he could
but i’d choose starseed over nothing
nothing
starseed over
starseed over
